Interact Club Installation Ceremony

Leading with Purpose, Serving with Heart

The Interact Club Installation Ceremony for the academic year 2026–27 was successfully held on 6th August 2026,in the school auditorium of Saraswati Vidyalaya, Rabodi, Thane. The ceremony marked the formal induction of the new office bearers and reaffirmed the club’s commitment to leadership, service and social responsibility.

The programme commenced with the warm welcome of the Chief Guest, dignitaries, Rotary members, teachers and students, followed by the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The event was graced by Mrs. Ashwini Vaidya, President of the Rotary Club of Thane, along with esteemed members of the Rotary Club.

The outgoing office bearers officially handed over their responsibilities to the newly elected team, symbolising the beginning of a new journey of leadership. The newly installed President, Miss Unnati Pashte, expressed her gratitude for the trust placed in her and assured everyone of her team’s dedication to carrying forward the ideals of the Interact Club through meaningful service initiatives and community outreach programmes. Addressing the gathering, the Principal, Mrs. Poonam Bhogle, inspired the students to develop leadership qualities, work together with dedication and actively participate in activities that benefit society. The Chief Guest, Mrs. Ashwini Vaidya encouraged the students to become compassionate leaders and responsible citizens by embracing the true spirit of “Service Above Self.”

The ceremony concluded with a sincere vote of thanks proposed by the Secretary, Master Daniyal Sayyed, followed by the National Anthem. The occasion was a memorable one, inspiring every student to serve the community with commitment, empathy and enthusiasm.

Interact Club – Tree Plantation Drive

As a step towards promoting environmental awareness, the Interact Club organised a Tree Plantation Drive on 6th August 2026 under the theme “Clean India, Green India.” The activity highlighted the importance of protecting nature and encouraged students to contribute towards a greener and healthier environment.

The drive was conducted under the guidance of the Principal, Mrs. Poonam Bhogle, Coordinators Mrs. Rakhi Khanna and Mr. Kapil Kulkarni, along with the members of the Rotary Club. The programme was supported by the Interact Club in-charge teachers Mrs. Pranjali Bhoir, Mrs. Vivina Cardoza, Miss Gayatri Nair, Mrs. Sanika Lavekar, and Mrs. Mansi Parab.

With great enthusiasm, the Interactors planted saplings within the school premises and learned about the importance of afforestation and environmental conservation. The drive reflected the club’s commitment to sustainability and inspired students to become responsible guardians of the environment.
