Monsoon Blessings: A Celebration of Shravan and the Gift of Rain

Saraswati Vidyalaya, Rabodi, Thane, conducted their Std VI Assembly on 28th July 2026, which was presented with great enthusiasm.The assembly began with a meaningful skit on "Monsoon Blessings : Shravan and the Gift of Rain", followed by melodious group song and a vibrant rain dance. The students beautifully showcased the importance of the monsoon, environmental conservation and sustainable living.

The skit portrayed the struggles of farmers due to delayed rainfall and highlighted the impact of climate change, deforestation and global warming. It conveyed a strong message that everyone especially children can help protect nature by saving water, planting trees and adopting eco-friendly habits. The assembly concluded with an energetic rain dance symbolising hope, joy, and gratitude for the arrival of the rains.

Principal Mrs. Poonam Bhogle appreciated the students’ performances and encouraged them to become responsible citizens and protect our natural resources. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks expressing gratitude to the Dignitaries, Teachers and students for their efforts.

The assembly was a beautiful blend of creativity, awareness and celebration of nature, leaving everyone with a meaningful message to care for our planet.
