Sarasvis celebrated French National Day on 15th July, 2019 in which students of grade VIII-X participated. This day is also known as the Bastille Day as it marks the beginning of the French Revolution. On July 14, 1789 troops stormed the Bastille to put an end to the harsh rule of the Bourbon monarchy. To commemorate the establishment of a constitutional monarchy in France this day is declared as a Public holiday and celebrated with great enthusiasm in France. The Sarasvis left no stone unturned and under the able guidance of their French teacher, Mrs Shaan Nawar celebrated this day with great zest. The students sang a patriotic song Champs-‘Elysees followed with a powerpoint presentation,a skit, speeches and scintillating performances put up by our Sarasvis each highlighting the significance of French National Day as well as providing an ocean of knowledge to everyone. The program was graced by our Principal, Mrs. Anita Pinto and Vice Principal, Mrs. Manju Mishra who addressed the students and spoke a few words in French.
