Young Minds Pen Vision for a Self-Reliant India

Our school Saraswati Vidyalaya , Rabodi, Thane successfully hosted the Tata Building India School- Level Essay Writing Competition, organized by the Tata Group on 4th August 2025 to inspire young minds and encourage creative expression. The event was held in two categories – Junior Category (Std. 6 to 8) and Senior Category (Std. 9 to 12).

The topic for this competition was “Five Things I Would Do to Make India Self-Reliant”, encouraging students to think deeply about the nation’s growth, self-sufficiency, and their role in shaping its future.

A total of 106 students enthusiastically participated, showcasing their ideas, originality, and writing skills. The competition aimed to instill a sense of responsibility, patriotism, and vision for a stronger India.

After an engaging and competitive session, the following students were declared winners: Junior Category- Winner – Mst Parth Ghosalkar, 1st Runner-up – Miss Zoha Memon, 2nd Runner-up – Miss Tanvi Masugade. Senior Category Winner – Miss Gauri Shirke, 1st Runner-up – Mst Atharva Kambli, 2nd Runner-up – Mst Aayush Ghogale. The winners will now represent our school in the next level of the competition.

This event not only provided a platform for students to express their thoughts but also helped in building confidence and nurturing the habit of impactful writing.
