“STORYTELLING IS THE MOST POWERFUL WAY TO PUT IDEAS INTO THE WORLD”
The Storytelling Competition started with a warm welcome speech to the dignitaries, judges, and teachers by Grade 1 and 2. The event started with a speech on the importance of storytelling on our young minds. The students presented a handmade Magical Wand to the dignitaries as a thank you gift.
The competition was amazing as the students got to narrate stories of Panchatantra, known for their wisdom and moral lessons. The 12 participants from Godavari, Ganga, Yamuna and Kaveri houses, displayed their skills in storytellings by giving variations in voice modulation, facial expressions, and originality of the story by captivating the audience’s attention.
The judges praised the students for their confidence and clarity. The Principal acknowledged and applauded the winners.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers for making the event a success.
It was a memorable moment that encouraged the students to become amazing “raconteurs”.
