Democracy at SVPT - Sr. School Council Election 2025-26

Date: June 12, 2025

SVPT came alive with excitement and a vibrant democratic spirit on June 12, as students actively participated in the much-awaited School Elections. The atmosphere was charged with energy, enthusiasm, and a deep sense of responsibility as students from Standards VII to X cast their votes to elect their student representatives.

Elections were conducted for key leadership positions including School Captain, Vice- Captain, Games Captain, and Games Vice-Captain. Leading up to the big day, candidates passionately campaigned through posters, speeches, and classroom visits—showcasing their vision and leadership skills in full force.

Elected Student Leaders:

• School Captain: Miss. Amrita Kulkarni
• Vice-Captain: Miss. Siya Puthran
• Games Captain: Mst. Shaurya Salunkhe
• Games Vice-Captain: Miss. Shaurya Patil

In addition to the elected positions, the following student leaders were carefully selected based on their, dedication, and consistent performance in respective fields:

• Band Leader: Mst. Aariz Meghani
• Scout Leader: Mst. Samyak Bhosale
• Guide Leader: Ms. Saee Baviskar
• Pilots: Mst. Devansh Chaphekar & Mst.Advait Hinge

The results were announced in a special school assembly by the Principal Mrs. Poonam Bhogle, where the newly appointed leaders were applauded by the entire school. The School Administrator Mrs. Deepali Patil and Coordinators Mrs. Rakhi Khanna & Mr. Kapil Kulkarni took the opportunity to encourage students to take their roles seriously and lead with integrity, empathy, and teamwork.

This democratic process not only empowered the student community but also strengthened the core values of participation, leadership, and responsibility.

With the elections concluded and the leadership council formed, SVPT now looks forward to a year of enthusiastic student-led initiatives, guided by this team of young and dedicated leaders.
