The most awaited Sr. House Solo Instrumental Competition was held on 12th September, Friday , in Saraswati Vidyalaya, Rabodi Auditorium.Total 15 participants were there in all, with 3 students from each of the five houses.
This graceful event started by welcoming the school Administrator Mrs Dipali , the Principal Mrs. PoonamBhogle, Co-ordinators, Admin Heads and two esteemed Judges. The students felicitated the dignitaries with small tokens of love made by them. Classes VIII A and VIII E were the cheerful audiences who attended the program to cheer the participants.
The participants flaunted their expertise in musical instruments which included Guitar, Casio, Dholki, Tabla, Roto drum and Snare drum.
The performances were outstanding and very tough to be judged. After the performances, one of our judges Mrs. Gauri Sane shared her thoughts and gave a detailed review to each and every participants, which added a special touch to the event. The Principal Mrs. Poonam Bhogle shared her valuable thoughts and views regarding musical instruments to encourage and motivate the students for their future. After that, she declared the most awaited results.
The programme ended with a heartfelt vote of thanks followed by some photo session.
S.V.P.T Saraswati Vidyalaya was established in the year 1981 at Namdeowadi in Thane. The School presently owns its premises, which was inaugurated on 1 st October 1991 by the then Vice-President of India, Late Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma. The school is efficiently run by the Saraswati VidyaPrasarak Trust.
