Republic Day was celebrated with dignity and patriotic fervour at SVPT'S Saraswati Vidyalaya on 26th January,2026. The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Chairperson and the CEO Madam Korde, in the esteemed presence of the Principal Mrs. Poonam Bhogle and Coordinators Mrs. Meenakshi Bangera, Mrs. Rupali Pawar, Mrs. Rakhi Khanna and Mr. Kapil Kulkarni.
This was followed by the singing of a patriotic song by the students. The Preamble of the Indian Constitution was then read aloud by the teacher and solemnly repeated by the students. Thereafter, one of the teachers administered an oath emphasizing the importance of 100% literacy and the role of education in national development.
The celebration concluded on a meaningful note, instilling values of unity, responsibility, and respect for the Constitution among the students.
S.V.P.T Saraswati Vidyalaya was established in the year 1981 at Namdeowadi in Thane. The School presently owns its premises, which was inaugurated on 1 st October 1991 by the then Vice-President of India, Late Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma. The school is efficiently run by the Saraswati VidyaPrasarak Trust.
