Grandparents Day was celebrated with great warmth and enthusiasm in our school on Saturday, 20th December 2025. The grandparents were warmly welcomed and honoured with signature badges. Special bonding activities such as photo frame and conical cap making were conducted to strengthen the bond between grandparents and grandchildren.
The grandparents were mesmerized with the lively performances by their grandchild and fun- filled games. The grandparents and grandchildren also participated in a fashion show dressed in various Indian state attires, reflecting unity in diversity. The programme concluded with heartfelt feedback from grandparents and an inspiring message by the Principal Ma’am. The celebration ended on a joyful note with memorable photographs at the selfie stand.
S.V.P.T Saraswati Vidyalaya was established in the year 1981 at Namdeowadi in Thane. The School presently owns its premises, which was inaugurated on 1 st October 1991 by the then Vice-President of India, Late Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma. The school is efficiently run by the Saraswati VidyaPrasarak Trust.
