Exploring Science and Innovation- Celebrating National Science Day

National Science day is celebrated every year on 28th February to commemorate the remarkable discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V.Raman. This year, Saraswati Vidyalaya, Rabodi marked the occasion on 2nd March 2026 with great enthusiasm and zeal. The celebration aimed to recognize scientific advancement and also to promote interest in Science and technology among the students. The theme for National Science Day,2026 was “Innovations for a sustainable Future”.

A Science Exhibition was organized on the, school premises ,where students actively participated and showcased their creativity and scientific temperament. Various innovative models and experiments were presented on automatic house security, Seed pencil, gas detector, etc.

The exhibition highlighted the practical applications of the scientific concepts in solving real world problems.

During the exhibition a total of 46 projects were displayed , out of which 14 were Mathematics based projects. The Students of Class VIII ,IX, XI participated with enthusiasm and confidence., demonstrating excellent presentation skills and a strong understanding of their subjects.

The event was graced by the presence of the Principal Mrs. Poonam Bhogle, Head of Admin Department Mr.Vinayak Shinde, Co-ordinators Mrs.Rakhi Khanna , Mr.Kapil Kulkarni and panel of Judges comprising teachers from Science and Maths department.The judges carefully evaluated each project based on innovation, scientific approach, presentation skills and practical application.

Co-ordinator Mrs. Rakhi Khanna declared the Prize winners and the prizes were given away by the Principal, Mrs. Poonam Bhogle.

The Principal, Co-ordinators, the Judges appreciated the students. It was a rewarding experience that motivated young minds to pursue Scientific research and Innovation in future.
