"Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live." – Jim Rohn
The "My Healthy Plate" Competition was conducted at Saraswati Vidyalaya for the students of Class V on Saturday, 20th June 2026. The activity aimed to promote healthy eating habits and create awareness about the importance of a balanced diet.
The students were required to prepare one recipe without using flames or gas. With great enthusiasm and creativity, the students prepared a variety of nutritious dishes such as fruit chaat, salads, bhel, biscuit toppings, and yogurt with fruits. The colourful and appetizing preparations reflected the students' understanding of healthy food choices.
The judges carefully evaluated the dishes based on presentation, nutritional value, creativity, and taste. They appreciated the efforts of the students and praised their innovative ideas and awareness of healthy eating.
The Principal Ma'am commended the students for their hard work and creativity. She emphasized the importance of choosing nutritious food and encouraged the children to develop healthy eating habits from an early age. She also appreciated the support of parents in helping the students prepare for the competition.
After the evaluation, the judges, Principal Ma'am, and teachers tasted the dishes prepared by the students. They thoroughly enjoyed the healthy and delicious recipes and appreciated the thought and effort put into each presentation.
The competition provided an excellent opportunity for the children to showcase their culinary skills and creativity. It also encouraged them to develop healthy eating habits and appreciate the importance of nutritious food. The programme was enjoyed by all and proved to be both educational and enjoyable.
