Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club

The Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club was held in Saraswati Vidyalaya, Rabodi,Thane, school auditorium on 11th August at 10:30 a.m., marking a new chapter of service, leadership, and fellowship. The event began with the welcome of the dignitaries, guests, and faculty , followed by the lighting of lamp.

The Chief Guest, President of Rotary Club , Thane Mr Girish Vartak along with the Rotary Club members, presided over the proceedings. The outgoing office bearers proudly handed over their responsibilities to the newly elected team. The new President, Miss Akshara Gawas in her acceptance speech, pledged to uphold the club’s motto of “Service Above Self” and outlined an inspiring action plan for the year ahead.

The Principal Mrs Poonam Bhogle encouraged the audience and urged all the students to be the active members and serve the needy. In his address, the Rotary Club President encouraged the students to engage in meaningful community service projects and become catalysts of positive change.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by secretary Miss Durva Chavan followed by the National Anthem. The day left every participant inspired, motivated, and ready to serve with dedication.

INTERACT CLUB – TREE PLANTATION

On 11th August 2025, the Interact Club members organized a Tree Plantation Drive to promote the concept of Clean India, Green India. This initiative aimed to contribute towards environmental conservation, raise awareness about the importance of trees, and encourage sustainable living among the members and the community.

The activity was conducted under the guidance of the Principal Mrs. Poonam Bhogle and the Coordinators Mrs. Rakhi Khanna,Mr. Kapil Kulkarni along with the Rotary members. The event was supported by club in-charge teachers Mrs. Pranjali Bhoir, Mrs. Rachna Shah, Miss Gayatri Nair, Mrs. Shubdha Phatak, and Mrs. Neelam Dangwal.

Students enthusiastically participated in planting saplings, learning about the importance of trees and pledging to nurture them for a greener and healthier future.
