Gurupournima assembly programme of Grade - 3

"Guru Vandana"

"To every Guru who has ever touched a life – You are the reason we rise."

On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, the students of Grade 3 presented a special assembly programme themed “Guru Vandana”, dedicated to expressing gratitude and reverence toward our Gurus — our teachers, mentors, and life guides.

The programme began with a warm floral welcome to the dignitaries and guests by the students and teachers of Grade 3. The event was gracefully hosted by Miss Shivannya Pai and Mst Naitik Chalke, who led the audience through a well-curated sequence of performances.

The assembly opened with the school song, beautifully sung by the choir, followed by a welcome speech delivered by Miss Kanak Bauva, who warmly greeted everyone and highlighted the spiritual and cultural significance of the day.

Jiya Puthran, Junior School Captain, delivered a heartfelt speech on Guru Purnima, emphasizing the importance of Gurus in one’s life and acknowledging their invaluable role in shaping character and wisdom.

As a thoughtful gesture of appreciation, flower bouquets and handmade bookmarks were presented to the dignitaries by the students and teachers — a symbolic offering in keeping with the spirit of Guru Vandana.

A soulful “Devotional Chorus” followed, performed by the budding musicians . The musical tribute filled the atmosphere with devotion and harmony, celebrating the presence of Gurus as the guiding lights in our lives.

The students then showcased their dramatic skills through a meaningful skit titled “Zindagi ke Margdarshak”, illustrating how Gurus play a transformative role in guiding us toward the right path in life.

Adding color and rhythm to the event, a vibrant dance performance on the song “Guru Vandana” captivated the audience. The graceful movements and synchronized choreography reflected the students’ heartfelt respect and gratitude towards their teachers.

The Principal addressed the gathering with an inspiring story, encouraging students to recognize that anyone who teaches us something valuable — regardless of age, status, or role — can be a Guru.

The programme concluded with a sincere Vote of Thanks delivered by Miss Aarvika Patel, who expressed appreciation to all the participants, teachers, and organizers for their dedication and contribution in making the event a grand success.

This assembly was not just a celebration — it was a heartfelt expression of reverence, creativity, and unity. It served as a powerful reminder that the light of a Guru dispels the darkness of ignorance, and that gratitude is the purest form of learning.
