The serene morning of Guru Purnima marked a momentous occasion at Saraswati Vidyalaya, blending tradition with progress. The day witnessed the inauguration of the newly built School Auditorium, symbolizing a new milestone in the school’s infrastructure and learning environment. a space dedicated to creativity, expression, and learning. The auspicious event was graced by the presence of the Chairperson and CEO of the Trust Madam Korde, the Administrator Mrs. Deepali Patil, the dynamic Principal Mrs. Poonam Bhogle, esteemed coordinators Mrs. Meenakshi Bangera, Mrs.Rupali Pawar and Mrs.Rakhi Khanna, Ever supportive Head of the Admin Department Mrs. Devyani Shukla and Mr.Vinayak Shinde, dedicated teachers, and enthusiastic students.
The program commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp and paying homage to great sage Maharishri Ved Vyas, followed by felicitation of Dignitaries and Teachers. Students of Std. X presented a class report summarizing the academic and co-curricular achievements in the academic year 2024–2025, showcasing their excellence, resilience, and team spirit.
The event featured a melodious group singing performance, invoking the blessings of our Gurus, a compelling skit that highlighted the essence of the Guru–Shishya parampara — portraying the unwavering devotion of a disciple and the selfless guidance of his mentor. followed by a vibrant group dance and a a soulful orchestra performance,
Speaking on the occasion, our Principal appreciated the students and remarked, "A Guru does not just impart knowledge; they ignite minds and shape futures. Today, we celebrate that sacred bond."
The Chairperson applauded the students talents and emphasized the importance of respecting one’s roots, stating, "Progress and tradition go hand in hand. Let this auditorium become a space where learning and values grow together."
The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event. The celebration served as a reminder that while academic excellence is vital, the guidance of a Guru is what truly lights the path of life.
S.V.P.T Saraswati Vidyalaya was established in the year 1981 at Namdeowadi in Thane. The School presently owns its premises, which was inaugurated on 1 st October 1991 by the then Vice-President of India, Late Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma. The school is efficiently run by the Saraswati VidyaPrasarak Trust.
