Action Speaks Louder Than Words

The Junior House of Saraswati Vidyalaya school, Rabodi organized an engaging and insightful Character Sketch Competition on the theme "Action Speaks Louder Than Words" on 10 th October, 2025 in the school auditorium. The event aimed to inspire students to explore the depth of character through actions, rather than mere dialogue.

The students from Class VII participated with great enthusiasm and creativity. Each participant was required to perform a character whose actions portrayed strong values. The competition provided a platform for young minds to express their understanding of human behavior, moral values, and communication.

The participants presented their character sketches in various forms like favourite cartoon character, social worker and fictional characters. The participants brought each characters to life, it felt like the characters were letting actions speak for themselves and not the participants..

The event was witnessed by the Coordinators Mrs. Rakhi Khanna and Mr. Kapil Kulkarni. The judges were Mrs. Shaan Nawar and Ms. Valerina Gomes, who praised the students for their confident performances, depth, and ability to convey strong messages through subtle actions and expressions. The criteria for judgment included content, fluency, costume, expression, presentation, and overall impact. The result was declared by the Coordinators they also congratulated all participants and encouraged them to continue expressing their ideas through constructive and creative platforms. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, who appreciated the efforts of the participants, teachers, and organizers.

The competition successfully highlighted the theme, reminding everyone that true character is revealed not just by what one says, but more importantly, by what one does.
