Grade 5 Assembly Programme

Adlai Stevenson has rightly said,
"Patriotism is not short, frenzied outbursts of emotion, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime.”

The Grade 5 Assembly Programme of Saraswati Vidyalaya, held on 15th August, beautifully celebrated the theme of Patriotism with enthusiasm, creativity, and pride. The occasion commenced with a warm welcome by the comperes, followed by the soulful rendition of the school song, which set the tone for the celebration.

The cultural programme then began with the melodious and uplifting group song 'Voice of India', which filled the auditorium with patriotic fervour. This was followed by the emotional dance drama 'Tiranga Tales', a touching portrayal of the valiant soldiers who lay down their lives for the motherland and the courageous families who bear their sacrifice with dignity and fortitude. Next came 'Colours of India', an engaging and enlightening presentation that highlighted the profound meaning and timeless symbolism of the sacred colours of our national flag.

The finale, 'Salute to the Motherland', brought together all participants in a grand and emotional closing act, leaving the audience deeply moved. The stage, adorned with tricolour motifs and vibrant student artwork, further enhanced the patriotic ambience.

The Assembly Programme also featured the reading of the Class Report, proudly showcasing the academic achievements, artistic brilliance, sporting spirit, and co-curricular accomplishments of the Grade 5 students.

The day’s celebration culminated in Madam Korde’s thoughtful and inspiring words and Principal Poonam Ma’am’s uplifting and motivating message, making the programme a truly unforgettable experience.

The dignitaries extended their heartfelt congratulations to the students and teachers for presenting such a grand and remarkable show.
