Inauguration of the Mathematics Lab at Saraswati Vidyalaya

From numbers discoveries, the Math Lab opens a new dimension of joyful learning, where numbers inspire curiosity and learning comes alive.

Saraswati Vidyalaya celebrated a proud moment on 18th July 2026 with the Grand Inauguration of its newly set-up Math Laboratory. The event was organized to strengthen the learning of Mathematics through practical experience and activity-based methods.

With the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon the Mathematics Lab was formally inaugurated by the Secretary of our school Trust *Mr. Sachin Mirani* in the gracious presence of our dynamic *Principal Mrs. Poonam Ma'am and all math teachers.

Principal Mrs. Poonam Ma'am welcomed the guests and addressed the gathering. She highlighted that the lab has been designed to move beyond textbooks and help students "see, touch, and do" Mathematics.

Mr. Sachin Mirani, said that a Math Lab would help students understand abstract concepts easily and will build problem-solving skills that are useful in daily life.

The new Mathematics Lab is a significant milestone for the school. Its main objectives are:

• Students will learn concepts through models, charts, puzzles, and games.
• They will get hands-on activities and will make difficult topics like Geometry, Algebra, and Statistics simple and interesting.
• The lab will foster curiosity, logical thinking, creativity, and a love for the subject. Students will be encouraged to explore, experiment, and discover mathematical principles on their own.

The lab is equipped with teaching aids, working models, measuring instruments, geometric kits, and interactive materials for all classes from Primary to Secondary.

The inauguration concluded with a tour of the lab and some fun math games.

We extend our *heartfelt gratitude* to our Secretary *Mr. Sachin Mirani* and *Principal Mrs. Poonam Ma'am* for their gracious presence, guidance, and encouragement. Their support has inspired both teachers and students to make the best use of this facility.

The Mathematics Lab is expected to transform the way students learn Math and will make the subject more joyful and meaningful.
