On 17th September ,2025, Saraswati Vidyalaya, Rabodi, organized a special initiative titled “Eat for
Cause”, a Food Stall Fair conducted by the enthusiastic Senior Grades students and the Senior School
Council. The core idea of Eat for Cause was simple yet meaningful — to blend enjoyment with
responsibility. By preparing and selling a variety of food items, the students raised funds that were
to be donated to a research project.
The fair was a lively event filled with energy, joy, and togetherness. Every stall reflected the
creativity and teamwork of students. What made the initiative remarkable was the generosity of the
participants. While profits were meant to be donated, many stall owners went further and offered
their entire earnings without deducting expenses. This act of selflessness gave true meaning to the
theme Eat for Cause.
On 24th September,2025 the noble mission reached its highlight when Mrs. Aditi Date, working for
an NGO graced the school campus. In a heartfelt gesture, the students handed over the collected
amount to her, symbolizing their contribution to the noble cause. Mrs. Date, in her inspiring speech,
deeply appreciated the compassion and hard work of the students, reminding them that their small
steps today would lead to a brighter tomorrow for society.
The Principal Mrs. Poonam Bhogle also addressed the gathering, commending the dedication and
unity of the students. She emphasized that such efforts not only raise funds but also nurture values
of generosity, teamwork, and social responsibility.
The role of our teachers deserves equal admiration, as their guidance and encouragement made the
event smooth and successful. Their support empowered the students to take initiative, manage
responsibilities, and work with sincerity.
The Eat for Cause Food Stall Fair was therefore not just a fundraising event but a celebration of
kindness, effort, and responsibility. It will be remembered as a shining example of how collective
enthusiasm and compassion can turn a simple fair into a noble achievement.
