The Class 8th Assembly Programme was conducted on 20th April 2026 on the
thought-provoking topic “Social Media: Connected Yet Apart.” The programme
commenced with the arrival of the dignitaries, Principal Mrs. Poonam Bhogle,
along with the coordinators Mrs. Rakhi Khanna and Mr. Kapil Kulkarni.
The programme began with the school song, creating a harmonious atmosphere,
followed by a warm welcome speech. The dignitaries were then felicitated as a
mark of respect and gratitude. A beautiful prayer dance on Ganesh Vandana,
performed by the girls of Grade 8, added a divine beginning to the programme.
This was followed by the Annual Report, where the excellentia students and
winners of various competitions were honored for their achievements. The
programme then showcased a wonderful group dance highlighting the impact of
social media on our lives. It portrayed how people often become so engrossed in
the virtual world that they tend to ignore those around them. Various real-life
situations were creatively depicted through dance.

knowledge rather than being followed blindly.
The programme concluded with a live medley of group songs, ending on a high
note. It conveyed a powerful message about using social media responsibly and
wisely to shine bright in life.
The Principal then gave valuable feedback on the topic and appreciated the efforts
of the students and teachers, especially praising them for their maximum
participation and enthusiasm, which contributed to the success of the programme.
Finally, the programme concluded with a vote of thanks.
