An English workshop was organized on 13th August 2025, at Saraswati Vidyalaya Rabodi, Thane for English teachers. The resource person was Mrs. Rajeshwari Lakshminarahsimhan, a highly experienced educator, who had the unique distinction of beginning her teaching journey in our very own school. This made the session even more special and inspiring for the teachers, as she returned to her roots to share her knowledge and expertise.
During the workshop, Mrs. Rajeshwari guided teachers on CBSE teaching methodologies, innovative classroom practices, and effective question paper setting in line with CBSE guidelines. She emphasized the importance of adopting learner-centric approaches that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and active student engagement.
The workshop was highly interactive, with teachers taking part in a variety of hands-on activities. These activities not only enhanced the teachers understanding but also enabled them to experience new strategies that could be directly applied in their classrooms. Through discussions and practice sessions, teachers explored fresh perspectives on assessment techniques, framing of questions, and innovative ways to make English teaching more impactful and enjoyable.
Overall, the workshop proved to be enriching, meaningful, and motivating. It equipped teachers with practical strategies for effective teaching and systematic question paper design. The fact that the guest resource person had once been a part of Saraswati Vidyalaya, Rabodi, herself added a personal and inspirational touch, making the experience memorable for all.
